BRANCH EXECUTIVE (LABUAN, KOTA KINABALU, KUCHING, TIOMAN)

This role will be a key member of the Star Glory duty-free branch business outlet team and will play an important role to lead the business unit in driving results. This role also needs to manage and promote the retail centre to achieve profitability objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITY

ADMINISTRATIVE
• Responsible for providing personalized administrative support to the management in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle requests, feedback, queries quickly and professionally
• Monitor administrative supply levels; reorder when appropriate
• Develop, carry out an efficient documentation, filing system for both paper and electronic records
• Delegate tasks as appropriate to other members of the team

OPERATIONS
• Solicit new walk-in customers from all possible channels and maintain existing customers’ satisfaction level
• Recommend, execute effective marketing, promotion programmes to generate customer awareness and sales
• Improve the service standards and customers’ experiences at the outlets
• Responsible to control costs, upkeep the image of the outlets and warehouse
• Directly manages the operations, maintenance of outlets and warehouse.
• Communicating with management to develop strategic operations goals.
• Creating, managing the organization’s fiscal operating, capital budget and expenses.
• Monitoring operational performance of outlets and warehouse.
• Providing a workplace setting that is conducive to productive work.

SALES
• Responsible for coordinating the sales team, supporting management and ensuring sales quotas are reached.
• Maintaining outlets sales performance, recruiting, training team and monitoring inventory.
• Have excellent sales and leadership skills, as well as strong customer service skills.
• Have a thorough knowledge, understanding of the store's products and services.
• Recruiting, training new team, assigning specific tasks to team and monitoring the team's sales performance.
• Solving customer complaints and answering customers' questions.
• Writing reports for managers.
• Providing sales team with constructive feedback and assisting team to solve customers' problems.
• Maintaining positive customer relations.
• Motivating the sales team and creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among the staff.

WAREHOUSE
• Supervising, evaluating warehouse team performance, meeting safety regulations, monitoring deliveries and shipments.
• Interact with customers and clients to resolve any delivery issues that may arise.
• Help with some administrative tasks such as order and invoice processing.
• Lead to enhance communication between the warehouse and procurement.
• Help manage an accurate, revolving FIFO inventory and rigorously investigate any discrepancies.
• Ensure all warehouse team comprehend safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
• Minimum Diploma in Business/Marketing or equivalent
• Possess at least 2 years’ experience in retail management. Those with retail sales experience in Duty Free industry is much preferred
• Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Basic bookkeeping and math skills
• Ability to stay calm and on-task in high-stress situations

CUSTOMER SERVICE LOGISTIC

Requirements
• Possess at least SPM or Diploma in any discipline.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent and strong communication skills. [Mandarin]
• Proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with multitasking abilities and able to take work pressure.
• Knowledge in MS Office, Words, Excel, Power Point.

Responsibility
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with customers.
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools to feedback to customers on our delivery status and any matters that require customer attention and actions. Current tools is via emails and Whatapps.
• Notification of any urgent delivery to customer need to revert within 4 hours during business operating hours. To notify customers whether delivery can be delivered or reschedule to the next delivery date.
• Responsible to liaise with customer on issuing the ROT if the freight forwarding is appointed by the customer.
• Compile rates for Liner for export and import for international freight.
• To supervise the haulage scheduling and monitoring team to ensure the smooth running of the haulage operations.
• Understand and applying system updates according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)s and guidelines.
• To assist of compiling the drivers trip commission with Finance Department to ensure the information is correctly provided.
• Assisting and monitoring Expired Road tax and Puspakom Prime Mover and Trailers. Arrangement for Puspakom inspection.

LEAD EXECUTIVE, SALES

This role will be a key member of the Star Glory duty-free branch business outlet team and is responsible for coordinating the sales team, supporting management while ensuring sales quotas are reached.

ACCOUNTABILITY
• Dedicated sales lead to coordinate sales teams, ensure the team's sales quotas are met and support the management.
• The sales lead will perform sales, management and administrative tasks, such as maintaining sales performance, recruiting and training sales team and monitoring inventory.
• Recruiting and training new sales team, assigning specific tasks to other sales team and monitoring the team's sales performance
• Prepare and analyse sales reports, and make recommendations for immediate improvement.
• Providing sales team with constructive feedback and assisting team to solve customers' problem.
• Motivating the sales team and creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among the team.
• To be successful as a sales lead, you should have excellent sales and leadership skills, as well as strong customer service skills. A thorough knowledge and understanding of the store's products and services.
• For existing customers, implement Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to ensure customers continue to be delighted with our services.
• Ensure operational excellent with strong inventory management such as full stock take procedures, forecast and ordering, managing delivery schedule, and maintain cleanliness of outlet at top conditions.
• Identify new initiatives to find new ways of selling and costs savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and support all marketing campaign and promotions to achieve the agreed targets.
• Provide creative ideas for merchandising and product display.
• Evaluate sales team performance and take the necessary actions as required
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and identify remedial actions to address the root cause of the problem.
• Ensure all the company's policy, rules and regulation, standards and procedures are clearly explained to and followed by staff.
• Ensure compliance to local law and regulations for all activities at the branch outlet.

As Star Glory has fast expanding business plans, this role is expected to grow the business and build a strong customer based and customer relationship to sustain the profitability of the business. This role also requires strong people management skills, strong selling skills to coach and develop their staff to be successful. LEAD OFFICER, WAREHOUSE

PURPOSE
Star Glory Group is an exciting and fast-growing profitable group of companies and has businesses that specialises in selling duty free products and providing logistics services.
This role will be a key member of the Star Glory branch business outlet team, and is responsible to manage and oversee all the warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. This job plays a critical support role and responsibility to coordinate all logistics process, ensuring the quality of goods, supervising employees and preparing relevant documentation.

ACCOUNTABILITY
• Ensure the warehouse, equipment, vehicles and company property is properly maintained and the expenses are tracked and controlled.
• Provide training, supervise and evaluate warehouse employee; assign workload to warehouse workers through proper communication and collaboration.
• Work closely with Branch Business Managers to ensure the daily warehouse operation is running smoothly and perform zero error. This includes the schedule of delivering and receiving, product repacking (price tag, tax stamp), stock take report, and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse SOP, observe health and safety regulation (included warehouse security, and safe keeping of all the keys), and ensure warehouse is in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
• Monitor and ensure warehouse documentation in & out stock is record and up to date.
• Monitor stock expiry date, and perform FIFO methodology, create health inventory storage.

FOREST CITY Special Requirements
• Have knowledge regarding Duty Free policies for product stocks transfer purpose.
PANGKOR Special Requirements
• Responsible for managing wholesale delivery.
• Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
• Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas

TIOMAN Special Requirements

PURPOSE

This role will be a key member of the Star Glory duty-free branch business outlet sales team, and is responsible to work on the store floor to provide top-class sales services directly to customers. This role must have strong knowledge about the store layout, inventory and company policies in order to provide accurate information to customers and also assisting to ensure product invetories are adequately stocked to meet sales needs.

ACCOUNTABILITY
• Provide an excellent customer service which included warm welcome greetings, answering questions, handle customer complaints and provide professional recommendation.
• Maintain a clean, organized and comfortable retail environment for customers’ great shopping experience
• Restock items that are running low and maintain proper display appearances
• Assist stock replenishment and merchandising, and perform daily stock count
• Keep a watchful eye for theft or mishandling of merchandise, and act according to company policies.
• Ensure customers are well-informed on any current promotion, rewards programs, activities and store return and customs policies.

• Propose stock transfer item and quantity for every SKU
• Be the face of the company and uphold company values both in how they dress and how they interact with customers.

HR GENERALIST EXECUTIVE

Direct Reporting To: Human Resource & Administration Manager

This role will be a key member of the Star Glory Human Resource, and is responsible for timely processing of the monthly payroll for Star Glory Group which includes all statutory payment. This role is also responsible to document, update and implement all human resource policies, standards, procedures and benefits. It is also required to handle companies’ administrative task (especially full licensing processes, tenancy agreement processes, prepare official correspondence documents, handle building maintenance, and all admin support tasks). This role will need to support recruitment processes such as sourcing, screening and offering to successful applicants to meet the present and future job opportunities for the company. It is also responsible for organising the relevant trainings to develop people’s competence and skills.

ACCOUNTABILITY
• Manage the full set of payrolls (included, salaries and statutory payment) for the organisation and ensure all the payments are made on time and avoid unnecessary late payment costs.
• Manage, document, monitor and review all company's HR payroll, policies, benefits, reporting & procedures and other relevant matters. (Working on Partially)
• Ensure all newly hired employees are properly on-boarded and aware of company profile, handbook, and company culture.

This role will be a key member of the Star Glory duty-free branch outlet team, and is responsible to manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, ensure efficient documentation and comply to procedures, operates at high operational efficiency, and maximize warehouse productivity and safety.

ACCOUNTABILITY
• Ensure the warehouse, equipment, vehicles and company property are well maintained and taking care off.
• Manage daily warehouse operation and run smoothly to achieve zero error. This includes the scheduling of delivering and receiving products, product repacking (price tag, tax stamp), maintenance of inventory and stock take report, and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure warehouse is in a clean, safe and orderly condition by following the company’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) regulation.

This role will be a key member of the Star Glory duty-free branch business outlet team, and is responsible to carry out all payment transactions from customers in the form of cash, credit or debit card, cheques, refunds or other forms of payment. This role is also expected to greet and provide good customer service to customers entering the establishment.

ACCOUNTABILITY
• Responsible for all payment transactions, operating the scanners, scales, cash registers, and any other electronics.
• Greet customers, answer their questions, helping them to locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Ensure customer purchase quota (custom policy) are complied.
• Accept payments and return the correct change due as necessary for cash payments, processing refunds and exchanges, and ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
